” The Backstory”
When I was little I wanted Santa to have cookies but I wanted them to be good. I knew that my Aunt had to bake them because her cookies are the best. So, she baked them but she let me help. My auntie taught her baby how to baked cookies for Santa and that skill just kinda stuck.
After that first encounter with baking, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life. My #1 dream would be to open my own bakery and do what I love for the rest of my life. Baking became my passion.
So, when I was in middle school I opened a small business. I sold baked goods from my kitchen. I had so much fun and it was exciting. Then I got to high school it was time to focus on school and getting into college. I made the decision to shut down my business and give school my undivided attention, but I still continued to bake for fun.
Now I am out of high school, I’ve graduated from college, and it’s time to get back on the path to my dream. Hopefully by this time next year you will be reading about how I took my dream and turned it into a successful business.
